i think this must be my fav location for late afternoon/ early evening, thank you sarah for suggesting it. we were so lucky with the weather as well, forecast was rain periods, and it was sunny and gorgeous, thank goodness. the tide was out as well so we could wander over the rock platform exploring the rock pools. two very active little boys that didn’t want to sit still, they wanted to go playing, exploring, running, rolling down hills, it was a very fun session.
the 35L probably doesn’t mean much to most people but its a lovely canon lens, one of their best. i’ve been dreaming about getting this lens for a long time and decided to buy it last week. took richard, my very unwilling model, to long reef beach last night for some test shots and also to check out the location for saturday’s photo shoot. it was such a gorgeous evening. {now the 50L is my next dream lens}

you will have noticed some changes to my blog. i was intending to do them offline but that just did not happen. i am planning on combining my website and blog together as a blogsite, so everything will be in one place. hopefully be completed in a few days time.
i love taking pictures of shadows, i took this the other evening, in manly, in the corso, i’m sure people think i am a bit wierd taking pictures of the pavement!
i have just had a sample of greeting cards sent to me from Redbubble today, i had them made to sell at the market. i must say they have come out really well, so i plan to offer cards for photo sessions, i am thinking of doing a special in march and maybe include a set of these cards.

this lovely family was photographed twice, once at home and then the following week at the park, sometimes i have to reshoot a session, doesn’t happen very often, so thanks guys for putting up with me for a second time!
this has to be one of my fav image, we were going for the heads touching looking up into the sky shot, but the kids had other ideas…
