No photo’s taken today, but tomorrow I am starting a photo a day for the month of February, its been popular on flickr, but for the month of January but I totally missed that. Alot of photographers that do it take pictures of their kids, and then make a photobook from the 31 photos, a really nice idea. Well I don’t have kids so the partner has reluctantly agreed to be the subject, so if that isn’t going to be hard enough I’m also thinking of a self portrait each day, but we will see how that one goes!!
Finally catching up on photos taken on our trip to New Zealand, heres a few of from the Milford Track, in fact I don’t have that many cos it rained alot and the camera stayed in my backpack, and forgot to take my P&S.

In fact it rained so much we were going to be helicoptered out, because the path was flooded, waist deep and rising, but of course by the time we walked 1.5 hours to the helipad, the floods had subsided and we had to walk out so no helicopter ride! It was my birthday as well, you think they would have let me go on the helicopter!

We spent a few days at Mt Cook village, and we were very lucky with the weather, and had awesome views of Mt Cook itself, fantastic! So plenty of photography opportunites as well as lovely walks. .
